What Union Church Is About
Union Church is a neighborhood church
and a mission church.
Mondays through Saturdays,
we are "missionaries" in the world:
members of Union Church are advocates, organizers,
public servants, social workers, teachers,
health workers, justice workers, bankers, lawyers, doctors.
Many of us are artists.
We come together at Union Church to praise God,
raise questions, and find
nourishment, new ideas, and spiritual companionship
for the service we do all week
in Christ's name, in God's world.
We had so much fun at the Church of Gethsemane on MLK Day of Service!
Thanks to Susan Fox of ParkSlopeParent.com for organizing the event with
Rev. Elizabeth Alexander and the Church of Gethsemane, and thanks to them both
for these photos...

We have good news to share.
Our on-site programs
have grown from what has warmed our hearts,
enlightened our minds,
and given us hope.

Because of our own faith journeys,
we encourage empowerment and transformation for all people.
Because of how God has empowered and transformed us,
many of our programs are educational or arts-related:
